You're in to preggos, eh? Weirdo.craig said:TBH I thought this movie was shit and served little purpose what so ever. It did have it's moments however and everytime Cate Blanchett was on the screen I found myself drooling at how much sexier she looked in this movie than normal, but on the whole very little made sense and the CG was awful (presumably intentionally).

Anyhoo...what do you mean by "served little purpose"? Since when are movies supposed to serve any purpose other than entertainment?
So what's your idea of a good premise? A bunch of midgets and a wizard travel across a fairy tale land to drop a ring into a volcano?craig said:I meant she looked more attractive (i.e. in the face), but yeah, pregnant women do have a natural glow to them too.
It didn't entertain me, therefore served no purpose! and the whole premise to the movie was rediculous. Mans friend is eaten by made-up-shark, man goes off to sea with pretend-son, etc.

Yeah...Willem Dafoe plays a lot of very different characters...and you think of him as a serious actor, so it's extra funny when he's in a comedic role.gkanga said:I saw it last night, I thought it was pretty funny. It was interesting to see William Dafoe in that movie after just seeing him a couple days ago in Clear and Present Danger, not exactly similar roles heh.
