The little things.

The smells of fall and the sound of dead leaves crunching under your feet.

A meaningful conversation, especially when it's with someone you wouldn't have expected.

Hearing a really good band for the first time.

Finishing a good book.

The sound of rain.

Stuff like that.

Children, when they're not screaming and shitting themselves in my store - Is good.
Finding money in your pocket when you really needed it.
Sleeping with rain outside your window.
Sleeping into double digits.
Sleeping.
Sle-- Z z Z.

I HEARD THAT, YOU DAMN KIDS.

DON'T MAKE mE USE THE DAMN HOSE!

Well, let's see:

1. Whenever my dog perks up her ears and tilts her head in that cute, little way.
2. Taking my dog for a nice, long walk.
3. The way game packs are listed on Steam; looking at the Source Premier Pack is like reading the menu at a sushi restaurant and coming across the 60-piece Sashimi Birthday Barge.

That feeling/sound when there is a thin layer of ice/slush on the ground and it crunches under your shoes. I guess anything crunching under your feet is nice, but ice is especially nice.

Which reminds me...
4. The sound of my neck or another part of my body cracking.
5. Like Muffin and Darkside have said; the rain. Also, I can't stand people who bitch and moan about it because of their hair getting wet or some other petty bullshit like that. (Ok, fine, I know I'm talking about a few middle-aged twits that go to the local hair-salon but you know I'm right).
6. 20-35mm cannons, for some odd reason...

More to come. Maybe.

Edit: Oh crap, I just realized I said "you know I'm right" two times in this post.

Being in the snow, but somehow warmer than if I was at home.

My dogs.
My property. I love to just walk (or perhaps do a little running exercise) around my land, just thinking thinking thinking (but never about politics or anything highly meaningful). I especially like to travel along all the rivers that stem from my pond after a huge rainstorm, and look at the willows that hang over the pond. I've been thinking I should really get an ipod.
Messing with fire ant nests.
Catching bugs I find in my house and releasing them outside (scorpions prove to be the most irritating to do this with).
Easing into my computer chair after a day out.
The great time I have sitting next to my brother, laughing with him as his oh so brilliant plans in Dwarf Fortress result in ruin (these are along the lines of channeling magma through his fort to fill a mote outside, and trying to capture various zombified creatures that he can use as an attack force (if nobody here knows what Dwarf Fortress is, I feel like an asshole)).
Also the great time I have with my brother as we make jokes about the anime before Futurama comes on (Inuyasha provides by far the best jokes).

Oh it can be so many things. For example, on the tenth of July I was at the Metallica concert in Oslo, and since I walked off at the wrong station on the way back to my aunt, I had to walk alone for a while, and I REALLY enjoyed it.

It was almost dead quiet, it was all dark and the lights next to the road was lightning up my path. I could see the stars, and the temperature was really nice. It really was quite amazing.

Other things that I often find very nice are:

Music
Hugs
Kids
Laughter
Green forests and blue skies
Being full after a meal sitting in a stress-less chair when it's all dark outside.
Driving alone when it's night, all dark and quiet.

Yeah I have a fascination with dark nights :)
