Whats your opinion of the movie?

Personally I thought it was very good, it was more of a Chiller than a Thriller

Personally the subject matter of the film scares the crap out of me, lots of disturbing moments.

The films style was interesting, the fade system of the film had reminded me of The Thing for some reason.

I'd recommend it any day.

I really enjoyed that movie. It gave me the creeps. It has been a few years since I've seen it, I have to rent it again! I had no idea what the movie was about when I saw it for the first time, thought it was just a movie about a presidential race.

This movie is based on a true story.

Yeah I thought it was good though it wasn't a very innovative remake of a classic. That's probably the reason why it’s forgotten for the most part.

Good movie, but no Jacob's Ladder. Trust me, if you like The Manchurian Candidate, Jacob's Ladder will blow your mind :)

I tried watching JL, I though it was ok, well above ok, the ending was a bit of mind ****, if i hadn't seen the sixth sense before JL, I'd probably been more blown away.

It's in my top 10. I did like the Manchurian Candidate, but the whole time it felt like a second rate JL. I would probably have enjoyed it alot more if i'd seen JL after. It just wasn't as tense, scary, thought provoking, or as wtf out there. The acting wasn't a patch either and things tailed off a bit at the end.

Conservatives keep calling Obama the Manchurian Candidate. lol

i thought it was a great movie, far better than the original, and one of my faves in the political thriller genre.

Saw this alongside the Machinist. The Manchurian Candidate was just a good movie in general, but The Machinist gave me the willies (at least until the ending).
