I'd probably chalk that up to random play all. Don't pretend like there isn't some stuff in your music collection that you find questionable.

There is, but i'd assume that for an online radio station, you'd only put on the songs that you like...

And I know that qonf doesn't like speedmetal D:

Is the community interested in this at all? We don't see a lot of backing, and it doesn't make sense to do if only 1-3 people are actually going to be listening
 
Needs more than music. I don't see the point of song requests, everyone more than likely has the song they request, so having it played on the radio is more of a novelty thing which will wear off. I mean, one could argue that you could find new songs through this radio, but we don't even know the song titles so that's kind of out of the question.

Needs talking. Needs a show.

It shows up on mine whenever a new song is played.
 
After discussing with Pesh and Q, seems like a Halflife2.net show is in order.

Be nice to see who'd be interesting in helping with it, and we need Mods to join the HL2.net Show.

Still planning it, but from my point of view, seems that we will record a talk over Ventrilo and broadcast it over Winamp. What will it talk about? Probably HL2 news, HL2.net forums, whatever is interesting.

Anyone got ideas, or wants to help, please post!
 
I'm willing to help out with anything, really. I think you'd have more listeners if it wasn't Lost Prophets power hour.

I was still tweaking the Playlist... I'd be TBS power hour if not LP, then NIN.

Gimme time, I'm getting some more artists. I'm also open to suggestions to more artists (And even better, what songs :D), and open up to anything else suitable for air (Like Comedy shows)

As for a talk show sort, it’s a good idea. I’m thinking we could open up with one song then introduce the topics of the night. We could talk about the implementation of ads in CS or the new dynamic weapon pricing in CSS. We could talk about the storm in Washington. I’m thinking it would be a once-a week thing maybe on a Tuesday from 8:00pm EST to 9:00 or 10:00.

As I said, this could be big. However, if there’s no community backing, it’s not going to happen. Be honest: do you want to pursue this? Or drop this now before I get my already high hopes up? Personally, it would be an amazing cast every week. I can just imagine hundreds of people tuning in to listen.

Perhaps you could do the show and release it as a podcast. In much the same way as PHW Comics does it.

Also, include some older stuff in their... or some jazz. I suggest Alan Parsons and Modern Groove Syndicate.
