Well in one an E3 04' vid, a guy is doing a commentary right before the hovercraft segment and says "Now were going to show you the OTHER vehicle."

Other possably meaning there is is only those two.

Well, if sharp objects can impale players, I can see myself standing on top of a buggy with my buddy driving, holding up a sharp object with the Grav Gun and charging at a couple of players setup in the same fasion. Lance dueling HL2 style.

I hope they keep vehicals out of day of defeat. I know they wont be able to resist it.

The thing about vehicals is that it breeds assholes. Its human nature to envy what your neighbour has, which is why you have plane campers, tank killers and team killers in battlefield. Dod is destined for this fate, unless it remains infantry only. Currently in day of defeat its just infantry. There is nothing anyone can have that you cant have. This makes for constant fluid gameplay. If you had tanks or trucks in dod, people would start waiting at the spawn for it, killing others because they want to drive it etc.

In all of the videos where gordon is driving something you never see his hands on the steering wheel, just the wheel/handelbar moving. I would like to see his hands on the steering wheel/handelbar.

Yeah that was discussed before in the original vehicle thread(ah McFly), i think it was a designing choice or something not be able to see his hands.

Yeah, it would be nice to see hands, maybe they had not implemented this when the demos were taken.

I hate that, it won't be on the final product but you can mod them in , argh, I wanna play it like it's supposed to be played, with everything implemented. :flame:

Just imagine a sherman in dod_flash, busting through the houses, people determining the exact time it will spawn, throwing nades at the spawn site timed to explode exactly before it spawns, killing everyone in the area so they can run in and get it and p00n all teh n00bs.
