The truth of the matter is, Moore and Connery were the very best Bond's, Pierce is good, but he has been seriously let down by the quality of his movies, the only good James Bond movie he has done is Goldeneye, all the others are utterly, utterly disgusting and a disgrace to the James Bond franchise.

My money would of been on Clive Owen personally, the guy has the look, the talent, the suave and sophisticated demeanor.

I don't have a problem with Daniel Craig, he was decent in Layer Cake. Although Casino Royale may not be the best film for him to start on, as it requires a more clean-cut Bond, not the rough-ready-rugged Bond that Craig would do best at.
