The new punisher trailer...

The original Punisher movie was pretty damn poor too. Personally I think they've casted the wrong person as The Punisher.

.....and its set in sunny ol' florida... and it has john travolta in it.... and he apparently finds his trademark skull t-shirt on a beach.... and... well i could go on! :(

imo the punisher should have been dark like the crow...

That looks a shit load better than the original, after watching it.

Quite frankly, while the trailer might not be the most convincing, with Travolta wanting to play a role in it, it has to be ok. :)

The original Punisher was pretty poor, that was the one with Dolph Lungren isn't it?

The 'new' Punisher looks absolutely woeful, like a fanpic from a bunch of geeks with a handicam and skull on a t-shirt.

I have seen an excellent Batman fanpic though (Batman: Dead End; sorry lost the URL, but you should also be able to find it on kazaa)
Best fanpic I have seen in ages.

Is it me or the guy who plays the Punisher tries to sound and talk like Max Payne?
Nothing interesting, when Hollywood will stop making crappy comics movies! Jesus, Spiderman look at what you did to us, now we “blessed” with “great” movies like Underworld, Punisher, Hulk, Daredevil, and so on. Thank you so much, Spiderman! Where were your spider senses?

spider-man was good, 100 percent like a comic book that became a movie.
but the rest aren't great.however i love blade 1/2 and xmen 1/2...those both have unique style which ownz.

Hmmm. Interesting. Max Payne the Movie Marvel style.

Actually, Max Payne is a total rip-off of the Punisher.

Anyway, that's not what I expected. I click the link, saw the image and was like "Wow, it's about damn time!" I clciked the link, vid loads up...OMG! That's nothing like what I'd imagine the punisher to be like. Though I would normally agree with rec, I don't think John Travolta playing a role matters. After all, he was in Battlefield Earth. /me shivers.
Anyway, it doesn't look that impressive. I agree with |Matt|; I was hoping it would be more like the Crow, or Dare Devil at least. They need to stop trying to make these films as adult oriented with a PG-13 rating. It's time we have an R rated Comic movie...I vote for Johnny The Homocidal Maniac, but I know that's not going to happen. Anyway;Spider-Man was way cool, but it was still childish. The comic Spider-Man was a lot darker, and crossed the line of justice and vengeance sometimes. He truly expressed just what a burden he carried, especially in his battles with Venom, who I hear will be one of the villians in Spider-Man 3. Well, that's pretty much my take on this and other Marvel movies.

BTW: Venom deserves his own trilogy, or at least to be the only villian in Spider-Man 3. I'm sure many of you who know what I'm talking about, agree.

I vote either Top Cows 'the Darkness' or Dark Horse 'Sin City'.
I've heard rumors they are also creating Batman: Year One. Frank Miller even signed up to write the script, hope they can get Tim Burton interested to do just one more Batman Film.

Dolph Lungdren is better than this guy!...

At least it was gory, now I bet it's all pg-13. And btw Spiderman was the worst comic-book movie, even The Phantom was better.
