At least you'd be forced to learn every inch of the engine

lol I meant if Mazda officially sold the RX-8 here...I can semi-easily import it here if I wanted to(importing cars from other markets is fairly common in the Gulf since we don't have all the strict safety/emmisions/etc. laws that the US does), or buy an imported model, but like I said in another thread, the parts and maintenance might be a problem.

I guess I'll have to settle for one of the new Mazda 6s...they look vaguely RX-8-ish.

Close. RX's are my favorite cars. One day, I hope to have the 1st gen/2nd gen/3rd gen RX-7's with the RX-8 as well.

I got a long time for that, though.
