The new season of 24

Well, I just watched the first two episodes of 24. I have to say that this is going to be one of the best seasons of 24, IMHO. Anyone else watch it yet?

I hate the new director of CTU if I was jack I would have shot her by now. :sniper:

That new guy at CTU with the coarse voice is cool but a lot of the new charachters I hate.

I love this show and I think it's off to a great start. Much better than last season. Chloe kicks alot more ass now and that teenager's gf is hot, too hot for him. :flame:

Ya I agree this season is off to a great start. I like chloe a lot more this season then I did last season but I hate the director of CTU she is a pig.

Chloe still annoys the hell out of me...and is it me, or did she get really ugly over the last year or so?

Otherwise, I'm glad to see the series really bolting forward, unlike the others which seemed to just fester for a few episodes before getting into some meat.

Watch them write Nina into the story somehow.

Anyway the latest series is as good as ever, if not better.
As usual I was gripped from the start and I am so glad they decided to make it a 2 hour special as I wouldnt have been able to last the wait between the first and second episodes.

Awaiting tomorrow's instalments even though I know I need to do a full day of revision for an exam wednesday :/

Well, the second 2 hours were pretty good too. I think Chloe actually looks hot this year, compared to last year. She had some great lines to, especially the ones with Edgar.

I like this season, it's all good stuff, soap opera stuff cut to the minimum.

Some of the reviews in the newspaper piss me off. It was a column and the guy was saying that 24 is boring and the whole show is about watching people type on computers and make evil stares.

That guy is crazy. 24 is full of real action and always has been. I guess he didn't see the episode where Jack lugged that guy's head around LA. Or this last time Jack popped a cap in that guy's leg. Not to mention the missile blowing up the Sec' car. This show is anything but static.

Well... HOLY FREAKING CRAP!

The first ten minutes of today's (12:00-1:00) episode of 24 were seriously awesome!!!!!@@!@@!!@!!

I highly suggest that everyone watch this episode. Even if you don't follow along with the show, the first ten minutes were superb. It was ....intense...

For those of you who don't know the story so far, i'll tell you the gist of it so that you understand why Jack Bauer is doing his Solid Snake thing again...at least for this episode.

Jack Bauer is about to infiltrate a terrorist warehouse. the Terrorists have captured the Secretary of Defense along with his daughter, whom jack is in love with. The terrorists are planning a live public execution of the secretary which is being broadcast all over the world via the internet. The president is about to order a missile strike on the compound in order to 'save face' and prevent the US from being humiliated by a public execution of a high ranking government official. The president's plan is to kill the secretary of defense before the terrorists can do it first. With a missile strike pending, and US marines too far away to rescue the secretary and his daughter, jack bauer decides to go in by himself...

Of course that's not all of the story, but it's enough the get what is happening at the beginning of the episode. Man, I wish I could talk some more about what happened, but I don't want to ruin it for anyone.....
