I was wondering where all the buzz about christmas was on the forums.. What are you going to do this holiday? Hoping to get lots of presents? Do you have any snow where you're at?

Should we do a "half-life 2 versions of christmas carols" like a few of us did back in '03?

The usual. Running around visiting people, having too much food, being tired and fed up, when all I want to do is get drunk and watch Bond/Home Alone on the telly.

Oh yeah, all those movies TV show every-single-****ing christmas. Here it's Home alone, some random version of that scrooge story, Die Hard, Jaws, and National Lampoon etc.

Dalamari, so true, I just love that cozy feeling you get around christmas. I haven't really been in a christmas feeling yet but now it's starting to brew. Better put on a christmas winamp radiostation or something like that

It's not christmas in my house it's a family time instead.
Tend to be indoors more in the winter, traditionally people would have to keep their spirits up in the cold, it's good to have some decent time together.

I like being outside in harsh weather this time of year tho, last boxing day was funny, i was out in a pine forest doing survival practice (seemed like canada, was ace fun) was great until my bivvy was raided by hounds from the boxing day fox hunt....man those dogs stink, i kept them at bay with my machette though (no i didn't attack them, i just waved it about and made a noise to scare them, they were after my dinner )

I have ten pounds to spend on presents, because of my cheapskate friend, I spend all weekend building his PC, buy him a keyboard and DVD-ROM/CDRW and he gives me ten quid.

So my family get a present each costing £3.30, I might as well buy them a big mac meal each.

The thing that irritates me most, the guy I built the PC for goes to the bank and says "Oh I've only got two thousand six hundred and fifty three quid left"

i like christmas time (though im not religous at all) i get to go back to nebraksa for a while and see my brother and sisters and just mess around, does wonders for stress and angst, i love it. I think my uncle is gunna give me some money and with that and the like $250 i have saved i'll be able to get this !

Will be good to rest up at my grandparents from Christmas Eve for a few days after working full time hours the week before, 39 hours! argh! This also means you wont see me from the 24th until the 29th..... :|

I usually get sugar-high on Christmas Eve, fall aspeep at 5am, wake up at 6am, have a seizure when I enter the living-room, and sleep out the rest of the daylight hours untill Christmas dinner, where I stuff my fat face and watch cheezy cult movies into the daylight hours. It rocks.
