Might not have been the best choice for an unbiased opinion. Thankfully, there's nowhere you can go that would say Orange Box is a bad deal.

Get it, especially if you haven't played the episodes. Some of the more relevant mods are going to use the updated source engine, so I'd recomend it, reguardless.

At the price now it's a steal. It was so good, in fact, haters had to claim you were re-buying HL2 and Episode 1 by buying the whole package(if you already owned them). Honestly, what kind of excuse is that? Let's say...


TF2=$20
HL2=$10
Ep1 and 2=$10
Portal=$10

That's fifty right there, and that's at CURRENT prices. The savings are just phenomenal, and Valve was awesome for doing that.

It's called the "deal of the century".

Five games in one, each game critically acclaimed and deserving of their own shelf spot.

Portal itself, with a little more length, is worth the price of the box. I'm not even including Half Life 2 EP 2 and TF2 yet. Hell, I'm assuming you've played Half Life 2 and Half Life 2 EP 1 and you're buying this for the sake of HL2 EP 2.

By the way, your method of organizing the poll positions is quite.... unorthodox.

The Orange Box is just more awesome than words can describe. £40 was bargin in 2007, now its like £15.
