Anyone seen this? I just rented it, may watch it tonight.

Film is too generic to warrant its own thread. Not bad though. Can't really remember it much.

Nick Cave wrote it so it has to be above average. I plan on seeing it soon.

I thought it was alright. Notable performance by Ray Winston (but that's a given :) )

A little bit arty farty at times, but worth a watch. John Hurt was good too.

I'm either watching this or Jackie Brown tomorrow. Probably this, since I own Jackie Brown, and technnnically Proposition is due back on tuesday...

Just watched it Saturday morning and I liked it a lot. Guy Pearce is always good. Very gritty and sad though.

Then I watched Lady Vengeance that night and it made me feel a whole lot better. :E

I couldn't find that in either of my blockbusters. Then again I was looking for "Sympathy for Lady Vengeance" so I'm guessing that was the problem.

I thought Lady Vengeance was a bit poo. Fun ending, but a slog to get there.

Have you guys seen Ravenous? I often stick it on when there's nothing else to watch. It's nice and bloody, Guy Pearce and Rober Carlyle work well together, and Damon Albarn helped write the creepy soundtrack.

Well, OldBoy was the best of the trilogy and some part of Lady Vengeance were a little boring, but overall I thought it was wonderfully made.

Yes! The scariest part (largely due the totally creepy soundtrack) is on the top of the cliff--you know what part I mean! So scary!! Great flick!!

It reminds me a lot of a book by Charles Brockden Brown called Edgar Huntly Or, Memoirs of a Sleep-walker. Check it out. One of the earliest American gothic novels from the late 1700s.
