The rapidly approaching fall insanity!

Well I have absolutely no idea.

It worked this way with Half-Life 2 retail for me: on installation the game required to have Steam running. Steam asked me for the serial number on the box and now HL2 is on my Steam list. As a matter of fact, retail versions of Valve games are sort of Steam backups.

I knew that I just don't know why asuka would buy it twice then. Personally all my valve games are on steam but I do have boxes for HL2 and 1.

What i don't understand is why so many of you go buy 2 copies of anything valve, just to buy it over steam, and later retail. WHY the ****, whould you do that? MAKES NO SENSE! No sense.

Eh eh, that was my point: buy it retail first (if you really want the box), so you will automatically have it on steam too
