I think this one was definitely the best in terms of animation. I absolutely loved when the scout was yelling like the heavy while dodging the punches. Best one yet I think.

A combination of motion capture and faceposer (ingame tools). It's all made on the real game engine, although I thought the depth of field (if any, didn't pay attention) was post-processed.

It's always striked me. Imagine if the video was on: Scout (American) had a political conversation on who's got more oil and who was to win the cold war with the Heavy (Russian). It'd be pretty interesting

As someone who lives close to Boston, I can tell you that the accent is from Brooklyn. South Boston is where the characters from Good Will Hunting are from. Watch that movie, then watch some Law and Order. You might be able to hear the difference then. Or maybe it's just cause I live close, kinda like I can't tell you if a particular British accent comes from Manchester or Liverpool, but most of the rest of the world can.
