I have just seen some half life 2 footage called baricade where you are fighting loads of soldiers but you work will barney and some people but i wonder why you are fighting the soldiers again. Shouldn't the soldiers concertrate more on stopping the alien invasion than going after you, I thought Freeman was working for the government, So why are the armed forces after him again? Plus it's good to have barney back but who are those guys that follow you when you go round the back of those soldiers

Those armed forces aren't the government. They're an alien-humanoid race called the Combine.
