The Spirit new trailer

So I was checking out showtimes at www.cineplex.com and found a new (at least I think it's new) trailer for The Spirit on the main page
Is this new?

Looks new to me. I'm becoming less and less interested in this. I know it's a comic type thing, but it looks cheesey as hell. Song was cool though.

Looks like everything I hated about Sin City.

The best parts of Sin City was when it was grounded in reality gushing with film noir. Everytime something stupidly cartoony happened I sighed.

It was that badass trailer full of awesome and big stars that got people in the seats for Sin City, this looks to do just the opposite.

The whole point of Sin City as a movie was to emulate the comic, and it did so extremely well. You may not have liked it, but it was very fresh in terms of cinematography. In a market saturated with cliche and overdone drivel, Sin City was a welcome addition, and I loved every bit of it.

Originally when I saw the trailer to Sin City I thought it would be bad, but once I saw it I was blown away and it's been one of my favorites.

I'm hoping that maybe The Spirit will do the same, but I have big doubts.
The dialogue is so bad.
"Hands up in the air!"
"You sure about that?"
*Towel falls*
*The Spirit gives a look of terror*

I mean, myself and so many people have mentioned how this looks like a soft core porn for geeks.
