But yeah, I've been known to watch any and all of those (I actually catch X-Play almost daily).

Heh, I was watching Screen Savers last week.

One guy called in and mentioned a comment about one of the girls on the show, his comment went something like "She has great tips." At first it sounded like he said "She has great tits." Then Leo goes "Yeah she does have great tips."

I think they need new hosts for X-Play. I am sick of all those stupid sketches they do.

Yeah, Tech TV is a geeky channel for geeks. I think its a perfect fit, as long as you're not taking it all that seriously.

i barely watch any tv. screensavers is good. but the rest of the shows suck. i wish i still had G4, but i switched to directtv ;x

Gotta love TechTV. I personally like Call for Help the best. Most of the questions asked are fairly simple topics, but I still gain some really good tips on free software (free file of the day), windows tweaks, troubleshooting, etc. That's the one show I watch everyday when I get home at 2pm.

X-Play is alright, not my favorite. I just don't think Adam and Morgan have a good screen presence together. I've met Adam in person, and he's really a great guy. Definitely a bit off the wall, but always fun.

Screensavers I watch off and on. They've got some pretty interesting topics within the technology world. Tech Live is entertaining at times, looking at allt he gadets and gizmos.

We continue to get G4TV here, although the shows are something to be desired. Reminds me a lot of when TechTv first started. Not a wide selection of shows, several reruns, and a short show schedule. It'll grow with time though I'm sure. Just stay away from the G4TV Glow Awards.

Sessler was at Quakecon the past few years. Generally he's pretty busy, but some friends of mine and I generally pin him down for a while. He mills around the BYOC after he's done shooting as well.

You went to Quakecon!? How was it? I always wanted to go but I am too young.

Absolutely love it. I make a point to go every year. Several old college buddies of mine always get together and split two or three rooms at the hotel where the convention is held. Last year was a blast, getting to see the Doom III Theater for the first time outside of E3. This year we actually got to play Doom III. ID puts on a great show every year, and if you can ever afford to drive down here, I highly recommend it.

The BYOC is amazing as well. Thousands of gamers lanned up in a huge conference room playing anything and everything. This year's case mod contest was interesting too. Some people have way to much time on their hands methinks. :cheese:

They've always got great key note speakers and small gatherings almost like instructional courses. Carmack usually talks at the end of each conference, and he's just one smart guy. Generally the technical side of what he's discussing is way over my head, yet incredibly interesting. It's quite a weekend.
