I've thought about this kinda thing many times :E
I'm sure there have been lots of home-made toys just like it, but I'm surprised that it's not a common type of production vehicle by now...

No this is a three wheeler. Well maybe it doesn't have three wheels but it still looks damn cool anyway :P

It was... before I was born.

I remember seeing something almost exactly like it before I was even in middle school (roughly a decade ago). I also found a couple of earlier (1983) shots of what would become the vehicle I saw. It's called the "Lean Machine." The version I saw actually looked a lot more polished.
