An update from the anonymous leaker...
This was found in the nfo for the patch that I reported
Well, I forgot to update you with the freshest stuff from
Valvesoftware.

Detonator-52.13-ANON got leaked today, its the new NVidia
drivers for HL2, though i have no fancy video card to test the
driver on.

Btw., for those of you still thinking -ANON is a group, i have
to say it isnt. Its just Anonymous.

To all those saying HL2 was delayed because of the hacking
action, ill just remind you that what was leaked is what Valve
has, nothing more and nothing less, so its pretty good to
understand it wasnt finished yet.

Also I'd like to point out the E3 was one big fake by Valve.
Ever tried to kill that soldier in physicstown ? Notice the
door will still get kicked ? No scripted sequences ?

To everyone saying this is no Beta: I'd like to point out that
THIS is what you wanted Valve to release on 9/30/03, theres no
such thing as a much better release in Valves network!

To Valve: I suggest you stop lying to your customers about how
much was stolen/compromised, or I'll have to release everything
just to prove my point. And you know what you got, as I do.

SO I colloborate the following issues. FROM MY POINT OF VIEW!

- Valve havent finished the game in time so they cant hold the deadline 09/30

- Valve is bound to a release date in 2003 by VIVENDI because VIVENDI needs money, otherwise VALVE have to pay much money to them

- Valve "leaked" a source code by themself to produce disinformation and give VIVENDI a reason to step back from their contract and the deadline about 2003

- A Ex-Member from Valve "leaked" the pr-gold version from 09/30 to the scene so everybody could see that the game isnt half finished



Valve what is your next step? Your next Lie?

Valve said - They have only 1/3 part of source
then ressources were leaked, a beta were leaked.

If valve dont leaked them on purpose they have
the BIGGEST MOLE in history in their company!

I think it would be in Valve interest to catch the hacker, right?

I have a friend in the FBI CC HQ and he told me that they have no case open about the hacker at valve!

You are a moron. Valve do not have to pay Vivendi anything if they don't release the game in 2003. Why post uninformed stuff like this with no proof to back it up? Why would Valve open up the technology they developed for 5 years to the public by leaking it? I seriously can't understand why anyone would be dumb enough to make such a stupid suggestion.

Okay, straight the facts

Iam a senior programmer from a subdevision of UBI. I wrote stuffs like RAVENSHIELD. I have contacts into the developing scene. I know how business work!

VIVENDI is a PUBLISHER. They publish games like other companies publish BOOKS. Valve has contracts with them cos Vivendi pay them money! Vivendi is sucked up this yeah, they loss millions and they hoped for a great HL2 launch. But Valve HL2 release is based on a unfinished version. HL2 is only 50% done! See the truth. Why are soo many versions out? But not a single complete version? Why does Valve not giving us a SP DEMO so the community (which is sooo important for them) will shutup and wait?

I saw snippes from the code in forums, online cos I dont download this p.o.s. And the code is a mix between HL1, third company scripts (like havok) and many other stuff. It look like you build a car with components from different models.

Iam sick of this game, this community, this valve (we are innocent) story.
