The Video Thread

I think it's not working that well. I never know what's posted because most of the time it's just a link to youtube or something with the comments "Haha"

I don't know what's posted in it and what's not so I never post anything because I don't know if it'll be a repost and there's no way to know- I'm not going to go watch all 500 things in there or something.

I also think the "what are you listening to now" thread is ridiculous, you might as well stick a "Post-count enlarger this way" sign on the music section.

I like it, it's always nice to see the artists/albums most listened to at their period of time, it also brings up lots of songs you think 'oh yeah i heard that, and i like it...etc'. And it's not overly spammed anyway.

With the videos thread, i care not. You have to be a special person to link to a video and post 'LOL' next to it, over and over, which is why you are confined to a single thread rather than everywhere else. It's called organised chaos...et j'dore.

Know why I hate the video thread?

Because it makes it look like there's new posts in General Off-Topic, when in reality it's just some stupid link that's been posted in that thread. And I never look at the thread. It's annoying to have to hit "Mark all as read" just because of that one thread.

Why has no more come of a Video Forum when there are threads posted in OT that are videos and then there are posts of "use video thread" but even more that say "I hate the video thread"...

Can we put it to a poll......or you know, just implement it? :thumbs:
