The voice at the end of Portal 1...

Speculation and suggestions about who that voice could be? Is it one of the Androids? Wheatley? Cave Johnson making a surprise appearance?
For those of you who have no idea which voice I am talking about, please watch MY video below. :)

Cave Johnson should speak with a slight Southern-Western US accent. This one sounds like some weird Japanese.
 
How do you know he wasn't Japanese? We were never told when or where he was born...
 
That's a wierd voice. It does sound similar to the voice of an Android, except the vocal output is of a male. But then again, it looks like you're being dragged off, and Androids don't have arms, I believe. Strange, strange.
 
It's one of ApSci's military androids. mechanical sounds? Check. Robotic voice? check. Arms? Check.
 
Here's a thought, albeit a crazy one, What if the objective at the end of Portal 2's Co-op mode is to retrieve Chell (It's probably not true, nor is it a good theory, but it just popped into my head)....
 
Quite possibly one of the robots from the Portal 2 co-op.

Maybe you should go read something about him. We are never given a description of where he was born or lives, we are only told in that "casting call" that he was Western/Southern American. But in that same casting call the person who wrote it doesn't notice that details and is are two separate words, I doubt that was official.
 
It couldn't be Robocop. Prime Directive 243 definitely states don't get blood on your hands, they're owned by OCP.

I'm of the opinion it's likely to be an android of come kind like the rest

Sure, guy named Johnson who founded his American company in 50's may be Japanese. Or Nigerian.
 
He could have Japanese background, or maybe it's just because his voice has been edited to sound electronic - and it just sounds Japanese.

Anyway, I actually believe it's some kind of new Android character we might meet in Portal 2, I don't think it's one of the Co-operative characters however, as Valve have said those characters will be silent. Those robots were also most likely built during the few hundred years between Portal 1 and 2, since Aperture Science is a state of disarray and unable to construct brand new robots.
 
I reckon its one the Androids you play as in the cooperative gamemode

Yes, that is a cool ending, and better than the original. The original, I was like WHAT? cuz i though Chell had died. But now its ok :p
 
I was the first one who posted the Co-Op robots drag chell idea! Give a man credit where credit's due, guys! Come on!

Actually, it struck me as a more English-y accent. Either way, there's probably lots of distortion from the robot's speakers.
 
If anyone actually bothers reading the pre-game Portal 2 spoilers and and watching the trailers and development shows, the voice is one of the two android robots which works for GLaDIS. At the end of the game, they place her into Stasis, where she will awake centuries later to find she's in a derelict Apeture Science Centre which GLaDIS is trying to repair, where at the same time pushing Cheryl to her limits making her solve the most complex of Portal experiments.
 
Are GLaDIS and Cheryl friends of Gordan and Alex?
 
It's just the party escort android GLaDOS mentions several times during the escape chapters. I think they even said so in one of the new interviews.
 
Well it takes a big person to be able to laugh at themselves ;o
 
Wait...isn't it already established that this is a part escort bot? Or am I missing something?

No I think he is the intubation associate GLaDOS was talking about who was supposed to pick Chell up in the event that she passes out.
 
Well I was gonna say noobs keep posting in it but that pretty much amounts to the same thing KA said.
