To whoever stole the source code and posted it on the net, it was not clever or good. I hope you’re found and punished with the full force of the lore.

I want to play half-life as soon as possible too, but by doing this you jeopardise Valves profits and the chances of them developing such unique and revolutionary games in the future.

Well, there is always a paper trail of some sort. Perhaps Valve can find the IP address of the person who logged in to their network or Gabe's e-mail?

I find nothing wrong with the leak.

From what I hear it was a month old. What's wrong with modders having it? Their coders could get used to the code and when the real code comes out they would be more familiar with it.
