are people sick of hl2 conspiracy theories or is it just that there are no good ones?? im just tired of em coz people come up with so much far fetched bullshit and things get repeated over and over again. i just want to know which half life 2 conspiracy theory has the most support behind it.

well... the theory that is most controversial right now is probably that the combine were never on xen. It's definately a theory that's attracting a following.

Not to be biased or anything but i like my theory the best:naughty: . It's about half life 3 that earth is gonna be the center of a huge conflict between the combine and another alien superpower. I believe it is because of this theoreticle superpower that the combine are taking over planets and amassing resources and building their armies so that when a conflict does occur they'll be ready. But when Gordon destroys the citadel it causes a world wide upheavel against the combine, weakening their grip on this planet and giving the other superpower their chance to strike out against the weakened combine forces on earth. There's more to it than that but this threads for naming theories not thoughroly explaining them.

Mossman says in HL2 that the Combine can tunnel straight through from their world to Earth, If you're gonna try and point out holes in theories know what you're on about (I learned that the hard way).

With Xen teleporters. Xen is the "borderworld", but I'm probably messing things up. Also, I'm not saying The Combine WERE on Xen during HL1, they have been on Xen because how else could they know about the portal to earth and how else could they enslave Nihilanth?
EDIT: Oh wait I actually am saying the Combine were on Xen during HL1.

I think all the good threads and theories *cough riomhare cough* should be brought back to life. I liked it back when people were discussing intesting things like deep backstories in the game and City 17 political/labor workings.

Now it seems like people are making shit up just to post something.
