about the end of half-life 1 :
hm i found out something interesting, . . after the g-man says "its time to choose" you go into the green portal and everything becomes black .
now if you put on your light before going through the portal you can see both gordon and the g-man standing next to each other . . . but what does that mean?
i thought you see everything with gordons eyes!!! maybe its a hidden secret lol . go play half-life again check it out come back again and post !! :afro:

That means a bug/glitch in the game and nothing else.

It was probably done to prevent the player from moving after going into the portal. Switching the view to a camera does exactly this.
