There goes the gravity

 thats insane! Could get interesting if he's chased by cops or something ;)

Heh, this is something I've been interested in for a long time now...I try stuff out every so often, but most of the time we get thrown out. Its really fun, but I need to start going to the gym, and I'm gonna learn a martial art to help me really get the agility and speed to do it properly.

I don't think the cops would have too hard of a time catching him, as all those tricks he did he planed out.

Yes, but I think he could jump off any stairs at any place... not like the fancy jumps and 360's but just jumping off must be not much of a problem for this guy

Yah, but you always run the risk of landing on somthing you didn't see.
2,000 posts!!! w00t!

Yup :) but it was nice for the 'audience' then anyways :p

Most of the chavs around here can do that leaping from building to building stuff without a problem... only they can do whilst bieng chased by a few coppers and whilst holding a whole load of clothes nicked from first sport...

Crazy stuff. I love these martial arts influenced sort of videos. Crazy back flips and jumps is always a good combination to have in a video

Damn, if I could do that I would just run around town jumping off stuff.

The thing is, these are just show-offs from stupid kids.

A Shaolin Monk with 40 years of training would kill him in 2 minutes.

But will it look as cool? :p

Don't know if any of you are from UK,

But the part where the guy has his shirt off and there's a camera crew, is from the filming of a BBC advert here in the UK.

The idea is the guy is late to watch his program so he takes a shortcut lol, it looked BADASS, much better than that whole clip (sorry) :p

I love that sort of stuff.

That video was cool but not half as cool as this vid I got from DC++ of some martial arts guy.. If anyone knows where I can upload a 19 meg big vidfile, tell me and I'll do it. He doesn't jump buildings but he does much more acrobatic stuff like do 25 backflips down an alley and land on a soda can and ends it off with kicking away a football in midair hold by a friend.. He does far more impressive stuff than that streetjumper. :D

edit: here's his webpage, http://come.to/jeigo

Yeah, that guy has some balls... I would never do that.

To bad its homo music in that video.

These are the same guys that did those Nike commercials. Go here and click on the "Leaps and Bounds" and the "Angry Chicken" one.

It has nothing to do with showing off, nor fighting. It's a sport/discipline called Le Parkour and it's often referred to as "the art of movement".
When David Belle (and others) do flips etc in their movies, that is not parkour, that is gymnastics. Parkour is mostly about speed and efficiency, but the flips and more spectacular stuff (roof gaps) usually get the most attention from the media.

It's from France originally, David Belle founded it together with a couple of friends, where Sebastien Foucan is the most known and prominent now.

They practice ALOT and it has to do with freedom. It's almost a martial art, (mostly) for the french, they live parkour. Practice all the time and also live by the philosophy of Le Parkour.

Parkour (pk for short) has just recently formed the first official organization and is now recognized as a real sport.

Even though it was 'created' in France, the most active community is in the UK, if you want to know more, go to www.UrbanFreeflow.com

The Parkour community is probably the most open and positive community you'll ever come across, I guess it's because it's all so underground and personal (so far).

The guys in the crew Urban Freeflow (brits, btw) are proffesional Traceurs (parkour-practicioner), and live by PKing, the do commercials etc, and try to spread the word while doing so.

I pk a bit myself, and lurk around at UF, but I haven't posted there yet. You should give it a try, it's real fun, and you'll get fit like hell if you keep at it, only, don't chew off more than you can chew..
I know I can climb up and jump down my balcony now, but I sure as hell didn't try it until I was pretty sure I could do it!!

WTF!? I didn't know you could kill threads by posting serious, interesting replies.
Now I know. :|

Fragcount +1

I've seen that about a million times, but it's still pretty cool.

It had been a while since the last time.
