WHOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Free drinks all around! I love snow!!! We got around 1Ft of the blessed white stuff! :)
On a side note my uber l33t driving skillz, :) I went to my parents farm last night abd one of my uncles was visiting and he got snowed in. So my brothers and my self where making bets on what we would drive in to town, I made the mistake of saying " If its ok with uncle bob, I will drive his 93 Lincon Towncar. Well guess what i drove in this morning. :) I wish i had some pics of what i drove through. Let me paint a mental image.

2 1/5 miles of 1Ft think snow and ice. All of the 2 1/5 is uphill. :) and its a very twisty windy dirt road. i was the 1st to go so i was riding on virgin snow. :naughty:
After i broke the ice my brother made it out just fine. :)

Share your snow stories.

I remember the winter in 1995. I think we got around 1- 1½ meters snow. Soooo fun! :D

(but hard to get out of the house)

i made an igloo once, it was actually quite easy.

I got about 4 feet of snow near my snow fence, come and join me, we can frollick!!!

Freezing rain here, on top of a fresh snow, on top of old snow, on top of ice. Yay. :famer:

It snowed/iced here and I wrecked my car. :|

We don't really get snow much these days. Even where i used to live they don't get a lot. I'm sure it will cycle back round though...maybe we will have a mini ice age like they had in, what i think was the 18th century.

They used to have fairs on the river Thame in London because it would freeze over so hard and thick...cant imagine that happening any time soon :D

In the earlier years of school my friends and I would build snow forts made of giant snow balls and then we would have wars with other peoples snow forts in the school yard.

Those were great times. Makes you wish you were a kid again.

Yeah. some things you can never really experience again. Like when i was about 4, me, my brothers and my dad made a snowman. Of course with me being so small, it seemed huge (It was big anyway, taller than my dad was and he is 6 foot 2). I cant really have that again, because making a snowman that seems that big now would be impractical.

Down here in Florida I cry because of the lack of snow. Then I freeze those tears and throw the little ice cubes on the ground and pretend its snow melting in the mid 80 degree weather.

Yeah but you have lots of old/retired people living in florida....In retrospect thats not good either.

Hmm, i suppose the hot weather is nice though.

if u want to live in an area with moderate snow conditions and moderate cold conditions as well, then somewhere around the Greater Toronto Area is the place for u!!

if u want to freeze ur butt off and be shoveling snow all day, then go to Alberta :P

edit: i am talking about Canada for those wondering :)

Please let this be the last thread with snow in the title.

No, we love snow. You can never take away our snow threads.

Dr. Freeman: It was funny when they called in the army though. lol.

I am soooooo dislexic (sp).............. I thought your thread said " This Is Now!!!!!!"

It got real cold here in western ny, I was thinking of moving to Siberia for the warm weather.

ahhh snow. i like finding material for yellow snow-cones. hmm but anyways, on our way home from a day of snowboarding, my friends and i ...driving from vail back home to denver... we got a white out. couldn't see past the front end of the truck. roads were completely clear, and within 2 hours we got about 3 feet of snow. pretty impressive(that's about 8 cm shy of one meter for you in europe). anywho... that's my fav memory of snow... or one of them. we had a blizzard last april got about 4 ft of snow then... that was sweeeet.

NO we need an ice age. :) Although my plan of taking over a smaller tropical island and building a fort on it wouldnt happen if the ocean froze over.
