Don't you hate it when you think of something, say a private joke between you and freinds, and it gets around so everyone on the face of the Earth is saying it?

It happens alot, and I hate it. :|
 
Yeah, I invented Pinky Promise, I swear to god. It was Pinky Swear before that.
 
I think it's nice. When I invented rocket jumping back in the nineties, I never thought that ten years later everyone would be doing it. But I'm glad - it's my gift to the world.

I invented the phrase "TMPwned!" in CS Source. For when you kill people with the TMP.

I thought it was cool ;(
 
It happens all the time with me and my close friends, because we are so insanely cool.
 
I used to shriek "TMP OWNED! TMP OWNED! TMP OWNED!" in the mic during my Dust2 TMP rushes back in the day.
 
A character by the name of Boring Bill and his phrase "Hello Phillip" is at this moment being spread around the local school by a complete and utter wiener of a kid I know.

Call me petty, but it really pisses me off.
 
Me and my friends used to call retards "waterheads" and then some preppy kid at school stole it from us and stole our thunder, so we retired it. We also retired our old greeting "the squigly" where you stick your hand out at the person and wiggle your fingers, but then the emo kids/nerds stole it and we retired that as well
 
my english teacher invented the phrase (DIVINE BOVINE) aka for (HOLY COW) and posted it on some forum and somehow another it spread..
 
Me and my friends started yelling "DERP" whenever someone does something stupid. Thankfully it hasnt caught on yet. It might have something to do with how we sometimes hit em with a "Nert Nert Nert" to mix things up.
 
i started the spelling out of WTF as it sounds. Doubleyouteef was what i first used, then others took it and modified it etc. bastards

LOL I've been doing that as a substitute for 'durrrrrr' for a few weeks now, talk about coincidence. Or was it... :cheese:
 
I've created "mowtar" (instead of "mortar"). Everyone on the Empires Mod forums is using it now :p
 
Me and a few friends would yell out "Pineapple in the dumps!" (a variation of "Fire in the hole!") when we throw shit, but that somehow caught on.
 
I once said "this could be the beginning of a new quest." when my parents gave me and my friends a job to do, and after that they started saying that whenever we had some kind of goal - like, for instance, we wanted to build a water bong! They make fun of a lot of shit I say... But I secretly get a hard on.

I'm pretty darn sure I started the tradition of posting that certain comic strip in birthday threads.

Besides that, as a kid I used to see alot of ideas I had pop up in ads on TV or other weird places days after I would have them. I started getting really paranoid that someone was stealing my thoughts D:

I spent a few days having half the things I said repeated by 2 people who didn't realise I'd already said it. It's not the same thing really but it was really annoying.
