I found it rather hard to shoot in 3rd person. It was much easier to use 1st person... Lightsaber combat in 3rd person rocked though! And that's the sensation I mean. You have PERCEPTION! I mean, lightsaber and 1st person? Ewww... It would be a glowing stick waving around in front of your screen... People are used to use weapons in first person (as am I), but I say screw that, force 3rd, like Max Payne. If it would have been longer, and more like Deus Ex in story and style (and especially length), it would have been one of the best games ever... (and he would have a reason to activate bullet time, neural implants )Originally posted by Mr.Magnetichead
What about Jedi Outcast?
I agree mgs2 was so much more fun i think, probably because splinter cell tried to be to realistic and it made the game feel to linear, and teh mgs story is just teh coolOriginally posted by FAK3R
Splinter cell wasnt that great of a game.. I liked it the most out of any tom clancy game.. But I say it was trying too much to be like MGS2
i agree the visuals and lighting in splinter cell surpassed those of MGS2.. but Splinter Cell wasn't as fun as MGS2
