I have to say I think that HL2.net is probably one of the better gaming forums I've encountered. Needless to say we've had the odd power crazed mod now and then, but overall it's a fairly hospitable place assuming you aren't a complete ****wad poster. I think the fact that although we are a fan community for Valve, we aren't fanatical to the degree of other game fan forums. Critical dialog isn't heavily moderated or shot down in flames, but generally engaged with critically. We might not agree with your position, be we'll usually discuss it through rather than label you an unbeliever and reach for the torches and pitchforks.:dozey:
