Very fast; a girl in my class can play nearly as fast. She's in a competition and she's been first so far through. I think it's a national contest. I believe she's going to state now. Her teacher's best students were there, and they always look down at her, but she got first place. Hah.

The fast fingers were midley impressing, the rest was sub-par. The piece he played lookes so easy. His hand basically always stayed in a simple five finger position in the same place and he plays one note at a time on each hand.

Not like this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_tjDBA4rA98 , where the guy is all over the keyboard, his hands are constantly strectched out to the threshold of pain, and there are some incredibliy fast chords.

Anyone can get fast fingers by practicing Hanon for 15 minutes everyday, practicing 4 hours a day to play Liszt is a different story.

What i'm impressed the most by is the fact that he has such fast coordination with two keyboards playing two distinct melodies with the precision of automated pattern players. He's not playing from any sheet notes, just his own music.

Yes, he is actually a very talented pianist. Not the best ever, but for his age, very, very good. Although I wish I could see him play some real music, because I know he can play it.
