This Is How You Play Online

Ok Guys

There are soo many posts now saying "I can't play offline mode"

Now this is how you do it, and it works perfectly, and it is they way it was ment to work, it is just not explaned properly.

Ok...

1: Connect to the internet

2: Boot up your PC

3: Steam will auto load (this takes about 1 minute)

4: SO now steam will be connected Online

5: Now just simple right click on the steam icon tray and sellect Exit

6: Disconect from the internet

7: Now reload steam from your desktop icon, or launch Half life, and it WILL connect offline. YOU will never need an internet connection again!!

8: Ive had all the problems everyone else has had so beleve me when i tell you this works...

I agree Point 1 is, But you need to do point 5, You have to Exit from the valve Program inorder for it to save your settings.

Please don't be a tard for the sake of it bikerdave, do a search or at least scan the forum before posting identical threads and getting pissed off at people just because you missed them. Stickies are stickies for a reason whether you like it or not.

BTW - why have you made another thread in this forum with a different name, posting the same stuff? :|

Actually I remade the thread as I made a mistake on the header, I wrote Online instead of offline, SO when a search was done for offline help, poeple would not be able to see my post. Good day Sir

Ever heard of mods? they are small, green and magic and can do stuff to change your screw ups.
It also doesn't give you reason to re-direct people away from stickies to your threads, especially when you have only vaguely repeated what most people already know.
