Nice to see that Capcom haven't ditched the next gen Rad Spencer. Gives me hope for a sequel.

Same. I would have much preferred Rearmed Spencer, but the new BC I have a soft spot for, even if it wasn't the best game out there.

I thought it was going to be like, some guy recorded himself playing this game, with his wife holding one side of the controller and he holds the other. And he would be yelling at her the whole time and it would be funny.

Well, remember guys, it turns out in the end of MGS4
that Ocelot was never possessed by Liquid, rather he underwent some sorta strong psycho-hypnotic shit to make him BELIEVE he was Liquid.

Also, I've never played a Bionic Commando game.

I'm terrible, I know.
 
Nah he was, but Ocelot got an exorcism or something between metal gear 2 and 4, and pretended that he was LiquidOcelot. Maybe.

In MGS4 Big Boss quite clearly states that Revolver Ocelot went under strong hypnosis to make him believe he was Liquid in order to fool the PATRIOTS so that they could free Big Boss from them.

They have like 9 hours of cutscenes in MGS4 and codec speak for like 20. I bet it was in there somewhere. There is only so many combinations in the english language. I just seem to remember that he was supposed to have been possesed by Liquid in MGS2, but by MGS4 Liquid was gone, but Ocelot pretended he wasn't, or something. I'm not sure at all.
 
Yeah, I can't find any info that specifically states, as someone said, it seems to be contradicting itself on that point.

That's what happens when you try overly hard to make a super-complex story I guess.
 
He was just faking. He just played you all for fooools.

Also, Patriots are the real bad guys. Ocelot was just trying to get his FREEEEEEEDOOOOOOOOM
 
ok not exactly the games but if you've ever seen the MGS database it states liquid possessed him and then he got rid of it and used nanomachines to pretend from then on.

The game on the other hand says he NEVER was possessed. They clearly contradict the other and i would go with the game for it obviously butthe mgs database is something that was put out by konami themselves (and apparently contradicts other stuff =/)
 
Yeah, but what the **** was the point of him even pretending? I mean seriously. Anything he whould pretend liquid whould do, he could just as well do himself, without pretending. If anything, if Snake could ever pull a god damn trigger, he could have died when he pretended he was having a fit.
 
Well he does have Liquid's arm in 2, but not in 4. Does that count as an exorcism?

It was in order for him to trick the PATRIOTS into believing Ocelot was gone or whatever.

It's hard to explain, been over a year since I played it, and you know how Kojima is with stories.
