I was playing with a clan I know, 2v2, and in dust 2 we were pinned down at middle, I knew a ct came up the ramp and I threw a flash around the corner, but it was already too late and the ct was popping up already while I was switching back to my gun, but the flash hit him and he had only 99hp from 2 shots earlier, and guess what happened. HE DIED! I killed him with a flash! THIS WASN"T POSSIBLE BEFORE. I tried it with my previous clan, but if someone had 1hp, the flash didn't hurt him.

So just for proof we tried it staged, and here's the screenshot. What I'm saying btw is that I can't start a demo with a smoke grenade active, not that I can't kill someone with a smoke.

i remember seeing this in CS1.3 i believe but obviously since its very rare, most people don't know about it.

i remember the first time i did it, headshot did 3 damage and killed the guy, i rofl'd for about an hour

Well I don't know HOW long it's been working, but I just contacted my old clan and even they remember it. (I was kinda surprised actually, they got brainwashed by Wow long time ago)

I've seen it happen a few times. But Never did it myself. I have been in a knife fight, and threw a smoke nade at his head, and made him get stuck so I could run away... then knife... That was in Source btw. The smoke sticky works still, but on opposite team only. from what I have seen.

its not the easiest thing to do ya know
the situation has to be perfect for it to happen and the throw has to be perfect as well...it rarely happens because its hard to do.

Also if you do it to someone with armour, I think it doesn't work.

This has been around since source was released. They even took it out or made it really hard to get it at one point.
