This is prolly what started the "video games are too violent" thing

It was one of the 1st games to be bassed by people. So was Doom.

Some of those are a lot more brutal than anything you see in games now.

I rememebr when I got a Sega Genesis for Xmas...I was 5 I played this game alot with my sister back then.
 
I liked the first one, but the rest of them were the same to me, thus I didn't play them...oh well. I liked Soul Blade more...
 
I remember getting that ending after beating Mortal Kombat Trilogy.
 
That was pretty interesting to watch. Amazing how many of them are kind of stupid. The fatalities.

The transition to 3d in the first game was awful, and the graphics were worse for it.
 
i miss games of mortal kombat trilogy with my friend when i was like ten. we figured out all the fatalities, so many of those are familiar

Never played a Mortal Kombat game, but I love the music though.

the only codes i remember are

MORTAL KOMBAT-

Genesis: ABACABB 'blood code'
Game Gear - 212, down, up, 'blood code'

TUROK-

N64: NTHGDGDCRTDTRK 'ultimate cheat or something'

no idea how i remembered that one.
 
Ah yeah, back in the day if you didn't play that game you were a chump. Every kid on the block played it, but I don't hear any of them trying to freeze someone using their hands. = |

haha, back when thoes games were out I didn't have any consoles or anything 'cause my parents didn't like them, so I'd always go over to this friends house and play mortal combat on the snes and others D:
