Nearly all the people praising this writing are NON religious. Or oppose religion. That doesn't stop them from admiring the piece.

You misinterpreted it. Scenes flashed before him. Each scene had two sets of footprints.

so the footprints flashed too/
it doesnt say if he saw all the scenes or not when he was walking.

When he reached the END, he looked back (saw the whole journey instead of a collection of scenes) and noticed in many parts there was only one set.

it doesnt say or even imply that more appeared when he got to the end. 'he looked back at the footprints in the sand' would suggest that he had already seen them.

Hmm, I didnt see Jesus anywhere in there. And im Jewish so Jesus is something I easily spot and make fun of (hehe :flame: ) You dont have to believe in God to like it, just like you dont have to be in love to like a rock and roll song (most of em are about love). Also that quote is not in that old book that DOESNT run anyones lives but you obviously dont know what that book is, nor have you read any of it, nor are you smart enough to understand what its purpose is. So I wont even bother trying to explain that to you, but if you insist, I will.
