There's just too many mmo's out there for them to make a ripple.
Not to mention EQ, SW:G, Matrix, Lord of the Rings....
And Guild Wars, that has no monthly fee.
My 50 cents.

Ask yourself this - Would you work for free? :x
Is that the only face you can make?!?Kadayi Polokov said:It's somehow instinctual I believe. Pity given, that the fees aren't prohibitively expensive for the enjoyment gained. :dozey:

like sourceworld, except fenric might yell at me for calling it an mmo
edit: maybe I'm just talking out of my ass again
this wide forum thing is making me crazy. yeah, thats it...
Guild Wars, while seemingly free, will be releasing bi-yearly expansions, including all new features, being as big as the first release, if not bigger. These expansion packs will cost the same as the game (around $50 USD) which, if you do that math, is a little less than $10 USD a month (assuming you buy the expansions). Also, it uses the advanced streaming technology, allowing them to update on the fly, so no server maintence, down time, and so on. Aaaand, lastly, the whole entire game, will be hosted on one server, and this will work do to instanced quest areas, for you and your team.. So no kill stealing, loot stealing, clogged areas, lag, and such.Sprafa said:How can you explain Guild Wars then ?
