Thread about Shoes

Boots are great, but not socially acceptable for men to wear unless you're in the army or a SWAT officer or on some boot specific action adventure like boot scooting.

I suspect boots and capes will be socially acceptable in the coming years. I've been waiting to wear a cape my entire life but society isn't quite ready for it yet.

Girls wearing boots is utterly hot beyond understanding. Utterly, unstoppably hot. Better than them wearing high-heels.

agreed. also capes pose a strangulation problem especially in subways

also happy meduim between boot and shoe that's rugged and comfortable:

australian outback boots or blunnys

pro-tip: dont buy cheap shoes, you're on your feet all day, spend a little and get quality instead

The only boots I like, period, are combat boots.

Boots are gay and anyone who wears them is gay. Unless you're in some manual labor line of work, but even then on your off time you must not wear boots or you're gay.

Sneakers are where its at. Comfy as fuuuuck. I usually buy from Sears because they tend to have a good selection of New Balance shoes, which are usually the most comfortable brand for me.

You don't need boots in your life though unless you work in construction or it's muddy outside.

BTW - what is wrong with jeans? You wear dress pants all the time or something?

No, I wear jeans often, but usually wearing jeans with sneakers looks really stupid:

And noo I don't wear boots and shorts, that's what the sneakers are for.

And you wear boots. For walking down the street.

I couldn't find a picture of some goth fag wearing boots, but this suffices.

See I can generalize too.

Not all people who wear jeans + sneakers have acid washed ripped shitty hobo-jeans and converse..

Lol, good point. So is that what you picture?

So let's run it back. According to you and Krynn, I'm gay if I wear boots. So I felt free to speak my mind. Jeans and tennis shoes look ridiculous. Secondly, tight jeans are for homos and rock stars.

But you wear tight jeans and tennis shoes, Dog--

Nobody thinks they dress funny. People get used to the way something looks and they won't change.

When I was a little kid I'd have a favorite pair of shoes and I'd get the same exact pair, or something very similar every time I needed new ones. One day they didn't have that kind any more and I was forced to try something else. And from then on I had an open mind. And I was much happier in life.

The End.

OK, you can get off my lap now KrynnDog--

I wear ordinary jeans and sneakers (like Converse) without shame. Anyone else?

Ok, I DO NOT wear faggy tight jeans - I wear jeans that fit, a little baggy, but not gangsta baggy.

I also don't wear running shoes - I wear sneakers.. I couldn't find a pic of my shoes in particular because they're no name (Sugi), but just picture these as no name and gray.

And btw, I only started with the insults after you insulted me.

I can't tell if you're serious and it angers and infuriates me.

No, I've been laughing the whole time. Don't be so intense, bro.

Why would you laugh at this - THIS ISN'T EVEN FUNNY.

I wore boots that lace up past my ankles along with my ****ed-up shorts. I will stomp your head in.

I've grown up doing a lot of carpenter work with my father, so I've grown up almost always wearing boots because I work in the shop so often, sneakers are only for certain tasks, or when you are just lounging around and not going to go anywhere really IMO.

But anyways, keep telling yourself boots are gay.... more ladies for me, more ladies for me.

Why so serious?

I guess that makes me a troll.

This thread is gay.

EDIT: also, I used to be a carpenter and stepping on nails isn't cool in sneakers.

Oh gosh, no. Don't do it. There was this guy who came to college as a freshman wearing a cape with a top hat and cane or some crap like that. Ugh.

There's also a guy who occasionally puts on angel wings. I kid you not. He wears little white fluffy angel wings on his back.

Anyways, I don't wear boots but will probably have to since I'm moving to someplace where it actually snows. Jeans + sneakers is totally acceptable and normal. Same with jeans + sandals.

I'm pretty sure she means those thigh-high girl boots though..

Which are just as sexy on a guy.

Nancy Sinatra would do me, ok, that's what it means.

How are you even able to say that those two guys look stupid without breaking into tears of frustration at your filthy, filthy lies.

Notice the lack of a question mark? It's because it's not a question.

It's a god-damned statement.

Why? Because there's only one answer, so I won't bother asking it as a question:

"I can't, Danimal, but you already know this, by your own tear-stained keyboard."

At which point I'd retort, but there's only so far a guy can go before he shrugs and says "cbf".

Meh. It looks cool sometimes, but this is more what I was talking about. I just think it looks totally stupid.
