Ok now who has honestly had a good experience with Ticketmaster? I got the inspiration on making this thread from this ytmnd: http://codeiswhatnow.ytmnd.com/ What happens is your favorite band announces tickets near you and the date/time. So you get your cc out and an atomic clock. Then once the timer hits zero, hundreds, if not thousands hit the reload button all wanting front row seats. Well what really happens is that it tells you just right then and there that you have no account even though you really do. Sometimes it makes you buy 1 ticket only so if you have 2 friends that want to come they are all around you in different places. Sometimes the waiting part to find your ticket thing times out. Or when you type in you personal details, it tells you that you took too long. Then the worst part is that code you have to type in. You have really great seats and your life depends upon you entering in the correct code. If you mess this up, you start from step one. Countless times I have screwed up on that code of doom. I literally had a mental breakdown almost last time by missing some great seats. So share your stories here of Ticketmaster lol.

I bought tickets from them once. I found out that the best seats had to be ordered in sets of 1

I don't know who they are and i've never used them, but I gave them a 1 to show my lack of respect for capitalism.

I cba to read the explanation atm, so I voted "I dunno". :P

You made a whole thread about how you can't use a simple form, and try and make out like it is their fault, not yours?...

This is the INTERNET!

*kicks into pit*

I've used Ticketmaster quite a few times.

They're not bad, form's simple enough... takes me about 3 minutes to get through it all.

I've never had trouble with Ticketmaster the 2 times I've used them

Pearl Jam tried to sue them once, because PJ are awesome and don't take any shit from companies trying to rip off their fans.

However, as the band's career progressed, they became noted for their refusal to adhere to traditional music industry practices, including refusing to make music videos and engaging in a much-publicized boycott of Ticketmaster.

Is it bad I read this thread title as , "Tickle Me Bastard"?

And I've used em once, not too bad....granted we got the tickets like a day before the event, and we ordered them a couple weeks prior.

You guys never had a problem though with the screwed up text?

The service charge is a joke, considering the piss poor service they provide; my folks bought me a ?40 gift card for ticketmaster and when I tried to put it into use, lo and behold there was no way for me to actually use it when buying a ticket! I then rang their customer hotline and the guy on the other end didn't have a clue how do it either, so I had to give him the card details, pin, order number etc. over the phone.

Ah well, I'm still going to Download and it only cost me ?115 for a weekend ticket with camping so it's all good.
