When you look at it Majora's Mask is actually quite light-hearted in some places and IMO more OTT than Ocarina of Time.

Anyway, it may be light-hearted in places, but the whole game is laced with death and destruction. All three transformation masks are people who have died, the moon's angry ass is tryin' to take Termina out. Hell, one of the four areas is filled with nothing but ghosts, gibdos, and skeletons.

Shit, even the music bugs me out.
