Halo 2 fanboys... why are you even here? This is the Half-Life 2 General Discussion. Here is a pretty good example of the supreme H2 fanboy idiocy:

Who cares? Go flame at a Halo forum. I'm honestly surprised that these threads aren't thoughtlessly deleted. Goldenboi and other spammers, get this through your heads: Pipe down, or leave. You're incredibly annoying.

Now, for the Half-Life 2 fanboys. Guess what? Halo 2 is a good game. There's no need to create new threads spamming "HAFF-LIFE 2 IS OWNZ0R HALO 2 SUX N00BZ!!"

Is there a need for a new thread like this? No. There's no need to create a new thread just so you can aid your insecurity about the fact that Half-Life 2 has a worthy rival. Deal with it.

Let's make these forums GOOD. I'm sure I'm not the only one who finds there's a majority of useless threads rather than practical ones.

Actually... I think that HL2 is a lot better I was simply amazed at the reviews.

yes let them enjoy that game, when hl2 gets released we can laugh at them how poor halo2 really is.

Do you guys think that Half-Life 2 would've done way better if they made a multiplayer?
 
I'm thinking of what is it between Halo 2 and Half-Life 2. They're too completely different shooters, with a different story, different gameplay and still on a different platform (until HL2 is releasded for XBOX and H2 for pc somewhere in 2005 I think). Is it because of cropped PC or console hate or because of the very large and dedicated fanbases? I think a combination of those. On another HL2 based forum I'm on there was a little HL2 vs GTA SA war too, but I hope we don't get this here too.
 
I really don't give a rats ass if Halo 2 is better, I will still hopefully enjoy Half Life 2.
I can't even play Halo 2....

Actually I do believe this thread is necessary. And I do believe mods should be taking a stance against this. Halo 2 rocks, but for me HL2 rocks harder.

how about you just dont CLICK on the threads where people are discussing which game is better? ever think of that?

this thread is just another piece of the whole pile of crap threads you're talking about. So stfu, and dont click threads you dont want to read. simple as that.

I remember how, back in the day, Gamecub fanboys would argue "GC IS THE BEST BECAUSE METROID PRIME HAS A HIGHER SCORE THAN SPLINTER CELL".

Well, Halo 2's number one so far. I hope it stays near that position. Just to watch the GC fanboys squirm.
 
I agree with that in some aspects, but couldn't you of taken it up with them in a PM?
 
But the campaign also winds up being the most disappointing part of the game--probably the only disappointing part. Fortunately, Halo 2 more than makes up for these shortfalls in other ways
This is a quote form game-spot which give the game a 9.4 , wtf!!! if campaing is half a game how could it score so high reviewers are full of sh*t.

I wasn't talking about Halo 2, didn't you notice that the top 10 games on that list were all console games?
