Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Predator

Hmmm... Interesting....

I wonder if that pissed off Ubisoft?

That the game was leaked like that...

The Ghosts have kicked butt all over the globe. Time for a new theater?

Be interesting to see how the game takes shape. There are a lot of "Shooters" on the market dealing with WW2 & Modern day scenarios. I would like to see the franchise go into a new direction.

Whatever it is, it's going to kick ass.

And yeh, i bet ubisoft is pissed off

I've been a fan of the Ghost Recon series. I will keep an eye on this.

Aussie classification has ruined everything lately. :(

I hope the PC version isn't just a sloppy unoptimized port with unrealistically high system requirements. The Advanced Warfighter games are console games through and through.

The original Ghost Recon is one of my favorite PC games of all time, oh how I miss it so!

Yeha didn't you guys have problems with L4D2 as well ? Btw, greetings from across the Tasman. :D

They seem to have a big problem with the use of morphine in games, I think Fallout 3's morphine was replaced with "Med-X" or something in our edition.

Is Australian society conservative ? Or do they have problems just with drug usage.

I don't really pay enough attention to it to know, tbh.

It's Med-X in North America, too. Not positive on why this is done. Same thing happened with Metal Gear Solid and the use of "Diazeapam" (Valium), the drug you collect to snipe without sway. In Twin Snakes and later Metal Gear titles they use a disambiguation or some fictional drug name. It seems pretty silly.

Err, what the **** are you on about?

The PC versions of GRAW 1 and 2 weren't ports, they were independently developed by GRIN and they were great fun in multiplayer, and were closer to the original Ghost Recon than their console counterparts, seeing as they were first-person only for example.

Oh nevermind, too early in the morning and I misunderstood you, I thought you meant the PC versions of GRAW 1 and 2 were sloppy unoptimized ports, whilst they were unoptimized they weren't sloppy IMO and they definitely weren't ports.

News to me, are they still played online? I just didn't like the direction of the series so I blew off the PC versions.

Wasn't necessarily speaking towards the PC versions of the AW games, I've never actually played them! Just hoping they don't **** over PC Gamers on Predator.

They are still played online by quite a few groups, several clans that organize games etc, they're very fun and tactical and far more true to the original Ghost Recon spirit than the GRAW console series.

I'd probably say they're as hard as the original if not harder.

Also, sorry for coming off a bit aggressive in the previous post, not having the best of days.

I played both GRAW games on PC and they both sucked dick compared to the first. I bought them on steam in a pack, and ended up just playing the first one again.

This. Except I borrowed them from a friend. They were better on 360, but that's not saying much.

Ghost Recon: Yautja?

Sounds awesome!

Hmm, might look into picking the second up on the cheap, then. No worries on the attitude stuff, I do have a tendency to sound a bit snide in my posts and god knows I've had my days where I fly off the handle here, too.
