Seriously... I'm getting sick and tired of every server I go to turning into some racist slug fest.

And I'm not talking about all the stupid kids saying, "I'm going to kill some black people".

This is some serious verbal barrage.

I rarely use my Headset to be honest. Especially now since i am playing the 360 on my LCD Monitor. I use separate Headphones for sound output instead of Speakers. I get very easily annoyed and distracted by the constant barrage of insults and mumbling you hear in the games.
So, i tend mute them all. Just bring up the phone in GTA and mute them. I Am not a very talkative guy anyway. Ask Raz here. It is very difficult for me to have a conversation just for the sake of having a conversation. I just rather shut up.

I dunno about xbox but I have all ingame voice chat in every game turned off.

I use Teamspeak or Ventrilo when with friends.

The net is crawling with punk little kids with dirty mouths and no parenting, VOIP just invites it into your livingroom, no thanks.

Yeah, but the British people I've encountered and played with have their own share of pricks too.

I'd say by population, it's pretty proportional.

Some British folk are digusting over Live. I mean, the odd American being pig-ignorant I take as mandatory when I enter a game but as of late I've began to start really dredding even coming across Brits. Didn't use to be like this in the Halo 2 Live years - back then it was EVERY GAME Americans out numbering us British to insults, and not once did I hear a Uk'er start anything.

I love playing with Americans on line, theres some really great players out there, here esp, but as it's been said, it just happens with people everywhere really.
