im pretty sure thinking about it, that it was a hyped date, and thinking back to the time, there was no real confirmation, or atleast it didnt feel solid, , I just guess they just wanted to get our attention or something?, afterall it was very quiet for 4- 5 years before then. I couldnt care less, it just means its going to be refined, and will be (crosses fingures) the most refined gaming experiance, ever :bounce:

Well I'm not sure about some stuff....but I am sure about one thing: VALVe didn't make up the Source engine - AS IT IS TODAY - 3 years ago, nor 2 years ago....it was a continuous project. Whenever new technologies arose, especially regarding graphic cards, new updates were implemented into Source. You can't really blame them for the dellay since you don't really know what it's all about, whether it be the hacker stuff, or some graphic issues concerning nVIDIA Cards, or whatnot...

Anyway, lets not look at the past, lets look at the future: H-L2 lays itself ahead of us in all it's graphical and gameplay splendor...We shall witness to a rebirth of a community that has expanded to the wildest extremes - from fanfic to level design, from blogs to mods! The last 5 years were something unique to the world's gameplay community. Let us hope that we can all share this feeling once again. VALVe, we're with you

Oh ..and to all the guys that buy Half-Life (or use a cdkey with a coppied version :angry: ) just to play Counter-Strike and that don't even know what H-L is all about....I can just say...shame on them (Well I can't actualy reprehend someone for liking a game so much that they would die for it :sniper: but it's a bit of an obcession around Counter-Strike that has became so common that it's silly...)
