I'm not sure. Either way, I liked it alot. It just looked good. And they replaced it with the battle rifle. Bastards. Its no good at actually killing anything, but its fun.

Well, it can't have been that bad because I used it a lot. It's just that eventually I realised that the other weapons were actually more fun to use, I was just inclined to stay away from them (I don't like Halo's approach to alien technology, which is just too heavy handed in its pursuit of "exotic". There's just a lack of cleverness in making everything brightly coloured and shiney IMO)

Yeah, there really isn't anything particularly intruiging or mind-blowing about wandering through a spaceship made up of pink and purple.

The Rail Gun from Red Faction should have been in there. But I guess they cant have two rail guns.

the klobb? wasn't that the weak excuse for a fully automatic gun?
from goldeneye, the DD44 Dostovei was awesome. i loved the sound of that pistol. so satisfying.

I agree they should've put the Red Faction Rail Gun in there. That was a real Rail Gun you could shoot through walls and see the target with the thermal scope.
How come they didn't put a bad ass Chain Gun in that list. I love Chain Guns

Even though I realize we are talking about game weapons I can't help thinking about the real nifty rifle from the movie "Eraser" a few years back. Accelerating projectiles up to nearly the spead of light:cheese:

The smart gun was great in SP, but in MP... it was just damn lame. :/

Especially when every room looks exactly the same as the other room, and you navigate only by not going where the corpses are.
