Looks fantastic! Shame the particle effects aren't too hot. The explosions look distinctly last generation after the stuff we've seen on GTA.

I just can't understand the hype for this piece of trash. It looks like shit. All the smashing and destruction isn't even done in a cool way, it's mindless for the sake of being mindless and everyone's eating it up like, "OH MY GOD LOOK AT THAT IT'S SO AWESOME." You know what?

Heh, mixed feelings in this thread.

It looks pretty good to me, but yeah on the 'meh' explosions. I don't get that, a lot of games have lackluster effects despite action being the biggest selling point of the game. Only very few do this well, like GTA4, CoH and Crysis. To me, the biggest deal breaker in an action game is unconvincing explosions.

The devs made Hulk: Ultimate Destruction. Which was a great a game. I expect no less of this one.

Looks like it'll be fun for about a day, in other words a rental.

Is anyone else a little put off by the violence in this game? I mean GTA and other games like it have always been kind of gratuitous in terms of slaughtering innocent bystanders, but there's something so carefree about it in this that just makes it that much more... unsettling. That and the fact that (from what I've seen of gameplay footage) there's always about ten civilians running right past you in the middle of a ****ing shoot-out at any given moment, so it's pretty impossible not to kill a bunch of them.

It looks hilariously over the top.

However from the gameplay video the tanks seemed way too easy to destroy, I mean in one instance the character jumps on a tank and it just blows up... wtf?

And that scene where he takes the appearance of a soldier was priceless:

"no don't shoot it's HIM! Not ME!" *they shoot him anyway*
