Top 3 Worst Communities

Flashback (Swedish forum, but the amount of reactionism and racism going on in there is unbelievable)
Youtube (because of the comments)
Wikipedia (because the one who screams the loudest gets his way)

I find that some of these 'worst' communities are also stuff that we all like. So its not so much that they're disliked by us all, but that they're ****ing ****s.

Stuff that we like != the community based around stuff that we like.

That's not what I mean. I mean you're here, so you must like it here.

1. Youtube - It is almost impossible to describe the amount of stupidity displayed by the Youtube community. Commonly you'll hear it referred to as being populated by twelve year olds, racists, idiots with outlandish, unsupported, or misinformed opinions, so on and so forth but really there is no blanket term I can think of to quite describe the level of sheer stupidity that the majority of Youtube commenters display. There needs to be a whole new term created to accurately sum up these people; "Youtube stupid" should be inserted into the common vernacular as the only way to describe something or someone so monumentally retarded that it's something you might see posted in a Youtube comment.

2. Gaia - Perhaps the largest community on the internet, Gaia has 7 million unique users a month and over one million posts per day. Think of the enormity of those numbers. Now picture that each one of those users and each one of those posts is at least wapanese, is likely a tween, and might also be emo/furry/enjoys Twilight. One million posts per day by culture-disaffected teenagers spending their cash on decking out their super deformed, anime-eyed avatar with wings, sparkles, pets, gothic lolita clothing, and whatever other flavor-of-the-month shit Gaia's got going on for your avatar. Gaia's also about 55% women among a sea of ronery teenage boys, so showing tits for Gaia Gold is common practice to get that new Sephiroth handbag.

3. Halflife2.net - A small community, which might be the only reason it's this far down the list. Because of it's small size (about 120 regular users), Halflife2.net is one gigantic circle-jerk of members slobbing each others' knobs. Absolutely nothing of value ever comes from Halflife2.net, as the majority of their discussion is things that have already happened, such as yesterday's news posted today; old videos, images, and memes rehashed from other areas of the internet and posted as new content to a group that seems to never venture outside these boards; endless polls on things like "What snacks do you like to eat as a gamer"; and general bad threads like, "Guys I have relationship problems," "Should I tell a fart joke to the US embassy," or "Top 3 worst communities."

The average user on Halflife2.net is in their upper teens/early twenties; this accounts for nothing of maturity however as most people on here are flaming shitcocks. The Halflife2.net forums are populated by racists, misogynists, 13-year-old boys with G-man theories, crazy foreigners, weeaboos, furries/scalies, pretentious jerks, senile old men, and unrepentant fagets who troll PS3 and TF2 threads. Moderation is only used when these users are having fun; bad threads are left open for fifteen pages while genuinely good content is instantly locked. This is because Halflife2.net is run by angry administrators who hate you and wish nothing more than for you to get up and die and stop wasting their precious bandwidth.

Average posts on Halflife2.net forums is about one per day. You can feel safe in knowing that if you posted something last month it's likely only going to be on page 2, and if you posted something ten months ago it's going to be resurrected by some newbie who has absolutely nothing to add to the conversation except "LOL."

You will never find a more boring hive of scum and villainy.

Not sure if you'd consider Wikipedia a community, but the people who write articles on there and go ape shit at you if you make one small change really does piss me off. When someone dies, the first thing editors on Wikipedia think of is "Holy shit, must get to Wikipedia and change that!". It's like they've already typed it out and are just waiting for the green light before submitting the changes.

Oh good lord Facepunch is horrible. I'd rather wipe my ass with sandpaper then go back there.

HL2 (if you're a new member)

Why has noone mention the hl2.net chat yet?
Because absolutely nothing goes on in that chat to make it a good/bad community?

Of course I wouldn't really know as I only visit when the site is down to complain that the site is down.

You really should visit more.

Your satirical posts are always my favourites.

lol it is a forum and I thought it was a good forum question.

The people are speaking and using the forums and some of you want it to stop.

I also posted this one and never expected it to go that far.

If you want to post in the forums more and create great topics I will just retire from doing so.

I find Bluewolf absolutely terrifying and fascinating. I don't think we'll ever be able to understand him or the rationale under which he works; it is becoming abundantly clear to me with each passing day that he is no mortal man but a god damned force of nature operating on a higher plane of existence from the rest of us.

Just accept it. Just accept it.

It is better to have a permanent income than to be fascinating.

He's a businessman. He doesn't care about your opinions. He's like a devil in a dark suit, carrying a briefcase.

You know what, Bluewolf, you're absolutely right. I spend too much time complaining about this place, and not enough trying to make it better!

I will start making valuable contributions from now on.

I will join you in this mission. If you'll permit me to make a suggestion, I was thinking we could begin our contribution by posting some incomprehensible photographs in the Image Dump, and starting a lot of polls and threads with inscrutable questions for titles.

ohh no some of you dont like my posts. my lame polls, you are so much cooler. I honestly had no clue this was a contest I shall try harder!

Speaking of hl2.net, why did you close down the age thread, but not the embassy fart joke thread?

1. Bethesda Game Studios forums - full of retards, supported by borderline Nazi admins enforcing "pro-Beth-only" attitudes.
2. Fur Affinity Forums - subtlety died there and rots to this day.
3. CD-Action forums. Lots of retarded polish gamers, sprinkled with game developer sycophancy.
