Torrent Trouble!

Whenever I'm downloading something using BitTorrent, my internet browsing speed climbs to a CRAWL. I'm using a Motorola Cable Modem and it doesn't matter how fast the torrent is going, 5/kb/s or 50/kb/s, the internet is painfully slow. For instance it took me about 10 minutes just to post this message.

Any ideas?

Check the upload speed. Your probably uploading a lot and not downloading as much.

Too many connections is also a possibility. Try using a 3rd party BitTorrent Client. Its easier to change settings and preferences.

I prefer BitSpirt. 'Tis only a google search away.
