Tour of duty

The new community update has something about a Tour of Duty coming online pretty soon. I don't really get it yet, but it supposed to have long dynamic battles which is cool.

read about it earlier, sounds like an awesome idea that should really make for some great gameplay, i can;t wait to see how it is implemented

I thought the tour of duty was a seperate entity ..where you pay to play on dedicated servers with other members of tour of duty ...maybe I'm just confusing this with something else

I think you are right, terrible idea IMO.

I meant that the idea is good, it is just a bad idea to have to pay for it.

Exactly, it isn't like they are offering an MMOG that is persistant, and has evolving content, it is just BF2.
