Well online it was very bad due to stuttering cars out of sync anywho I guess they took down the online portion cause I tried getting on yesterday and they had an excuse about too many players or some jazz. Anywho its pretty damn fun and some of the advanced stuff I just cringe at cause Its pretty damn hard but I had fun with allot of them.

I can see my own car but nobody else can see my skin and I can't see anybody elses, I've never been in a room where they worked

Good fun...only prob is that Ireland isnt recognised as a country...so now my winning anthem is canadian! :D My own paint job is pretty shoddy but its a nice Irish feel to it...

Im on it as Sabre0001 and hopefully you will see my green, white and gold car.

Seriously its great! And the fact that its free is even better - must start organising races between us HL2.netters

It would make the collisions interesting, but it would make the rest of the game suck.

Oh man, I got RSI from playing like 3 hours non stop. I esp. like the stunt tracks. Raced on two custom tracks tonight which were pretty good. Such an addictive little game ....
 
Hello again Ennui! Good races i thought... had a great time tonight except when some hosts crash.

Some tracks i dont like - force you to make errors and learn so a couple of full crap laps are needed. it is an exciting game. I keep playing time attack mode...Safe to say Im addicted.

Well worth the download!
 
the rankings are now online...im in 212 position and due to the fact that ireland isnt a nation (yes i will keep ranting about this) i have helped canada up to 30th...

Very cool game though. Some of the long tracks are very frustrating because you dont get many chances. Its also very obvious who has played before and who havent.

have found out some interesting things too - the game was released for free because its allowing players to practice in order to compete in a national competition...if they progress from this they enter the finals which take place in paris!!!
 
Wow, servers with custom tracks are popping up everywhere. Visit /NED Eeruku's customs server for some wicked ones. It's usually up between 19:00 and 01:00 GMT.

Eh, According to G4TV(was bored... watched XPlay and Attack of the Show)... the game is spyware ridden?

But then again, nowadays what isn't?

Its a free game, just has lots of nVidia and Pepsi adverts around the tracks.
 
It does have spyware. It talked about it in the eula.
Anyway the game is too easy and unrealistic.

Brick, you are a fine driver. You set a couple of sharp times when you, Jimbo and me were racing. That www.n4ts.co.uk server we were on had some wicked custom maps. Need ..... to ...... sleep ..... now
 
Thanks shaker :) That server has the best maps I've seen yet.

Yesterday they improved the server system, and now everything connects like in half a second :D No more waiting untill the servers or the ranks show up. I'm really in love with Trackmania: Nashens.
 
well i have slipped miles down the rankings...shows what happens when you dont play for a few days. :(

And the reason that Ireland is not in the game is because Ireland does not compete at the ESWC.
 
I don't think it should be classed as spyware more or less than other games with advertising. It just updates advertising and tracks what you do to it. Like recently I saw a video at the start of the game which was different than before. I almost immediately skipped it and it's never shown up since.
 
Managed to boost myself up to 12772 from in the 23000s. where are ye at...

Also in my dear adopted canada i am ranked 350...Must work on climbing that...
 
I'm getting a proxy error whenever I try to update or connect online. I don't even know what a proxy is.

Does anyone know what the problem is? It worked fine a couple days ago, and I haven't changed anything in the game settings or on my computer.

It's just the ladder server that's overloaded. Just try logging in again (might take a while).
 
Everything is running fine now. Why don't more people play this game? It's teh pwn.
 
It is great...Working my way up the rankings quite nicely...
But...DAMN YOU SHAKERMAKER - IM ADDICTED

And i have caused two other people to become pretty addicted too!
