Train track inspector nearly hit twice

Seen this before but he is one lucky sonovabitch

Impressive jumps indeed. He has a future in his own platform game.

Why didn't he see/hear it coming? I mean come on, he was on that track for a while obviously, and it's likely to be a long straightaway just like it is in the other direction. Unless those bullet trains are really quiet(which they could be).

Also, why did he hop, rather than roll or run? Running would be my most logical plan of retreat. The second hop is more understandable than the first. The first is kind of puzzling, because he hopped backwards, rather than forwards... which to me just seems unusual.

Pretty ****ing badass if real, though.

The first hop looks like an automatic reaction to the thing moving quickly at him. You can see that the moment he looked up, his head jerked backwards, and the rest of the reaction was balancing his center of mass under his head. The second jump was truly astonishing. This guy has some amazing reflexes.

Could easily be faked with combining video footage.

Could easily be real with a security camera watching the station.

He could have had headphones on and been listening to some loudish music and didnt notice the train because of that. People at work put their headsets on and can't hear shit even if you're screaming their name, and they claim their music isnt even loud. I mean, the guy checks railroad tracks... if any job requires an mp3 player that would be the it.

The guy is a reflex god. I bet he'd be good at shooters.

Not saying it couldn't, I was merely trying to point out something in a neutral way, not taking a side.

IT WASNT FAKE VEGETA SHUT THE **** UP. STOP SAYING IT IS!

Vegeta ur a fag krynn told me so.

I was examining the video a little closer... with more frames than break provides. The lighting on the guy and his hat seems really weird. He's immediately obscures by the shadow of the train, which is fine... but then a mere moment later he's unobscured again, when he technically should still be obscured by the shadow cast from the train.

Not saying it's fake... it's just that the lighting seems a bit off. I'm no lighting expert, but it does seem unusual to me.

EDIT:

Shouldn't he still be in shadow at this point? it seems to me he hasn't quite reached that point where the sunlight at the angle it is would reach him.

Looks right to me. And I am a lighting expert.

In the court of internets, everything is fake until proven real.

Whould have been funnier if the 3rd train had run him over.
